Mark T. Bixler, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Mark Bixler has been the Head Golf Professional since the fall of 2013. Mark was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, where he got his first job in the golf business as a caddie at the Inverness Club. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. After graduating, Mark worked as an Assistant Golf Pro at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio, home of the LPGA Jamie Farr Classic. Mark then worked at Chagrin Valley Country Club for one season before moving to the East Coast. From 2010 until 2013, Mark split his time as the Senior Assistant at Pine Valley Golf Club in the summer and The John's Island Club in the winter. Pine Valley is widely regarded as one of the top golf clubs in the world while John's Island has been recognized as a Top 15 Residental Community in America. Mark and his wife Rachel reside in Willoughby with their three boys – William, Owen, and Colin.

Mike Pickett, PGA
Director of Player Development
Mike is a Northeast Ohio native, having grown up in Stow and achieving a BS Degree in Sports Management from Kent State University. He has held progressive roles in the golf world, including positions with Beechmont Country Club, Cumberland Trail Golf Club (Columbus), StoneWater Golf Club, and most recently, as the Director of Player Development at Quail Hollow Country Club. While at Quail, Mike developed his expertise in Golf Instruction, Club-Fitting, Junior Golf, and Player Development Programming. Mike’s passion and leadership for Junior Golf extends even further as he leads the Regional PGA Jr. League All-Star Team and is the Head Varsity Golf Coach for Riverside High School.
Mike’s educational and professional training has separated him within the golf industry from his peers. He has been a PGA Member for 19 years, along with achieving advanced level “Certified PGA Professional” status within the PGA of America under the focuses of “Teaching & Coaching” and “Golf Operations.” He recently achieved Level 1 TPI Certification, focusing on the body-swing connection throughout the golf swing. He is also certified in the “PGA.Coach ADM Model” which embodies the importance of age-appropriate Junior Golf development.
One of Mike’s other passions within the game is the Rules of Golf. In January 2023, Mike achieved “Expert Certification” within the USGA, allowing him to serve as the Lead Rules Official for amateur, collegiate, and professional golf tournaments.
Mike resides locally in Painesville with his two children (Ella, 17 & Griffin, 13) and his wife, Elizabeth. He and his entire family have a passion for promoting and living by the “Razz Way of Life,” a philosophy of celebrating life to its fullest that Mike has developed.

Jordyn Fitzgerald
Assistant Golf Professional
Jordyn Fitzgerald joined the KCC golf staff in the Spring of 2022. Jordyn was born and raised in Wisconsin. She went to college at the University of Wisconsin – Stout, where she played on the golf team for four years and graduated with a degree in Golf Enterprise Management and Real Estate Property Management. Jordyn has worked at Sand Valley Golf Resort, The Club at Morningside in Palm Springs, California, and most recently at Canterbury Golf Club. When she is not working or playing golf, Jordyn enjoys reading and hiking.

Robbie Gilmore, Jr.
Assistant Golf Professional
Robbie most recently served as the Membership Golf Professional at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Prior to that, he was the Golf Professional at The Greenbrier Sporting Club and also the Director of Instruction of The Greenbrier's Sam Snead Golf Academy. Robbie was recognized by Golf Digest as the #1 Instructor in the state of West Virginia in 2015 and 2016. On occasion, he had a little time to pick the Slammer's brain on teaching philosophy and hear his countless stories. Since then he has added to his teaching resume by working with such renowned teachers as Jim Hardy, Laird Small, Annika Sorenstam, and Jim McLean.
Robbie attended Jacksonville University on a full golf scholarship and graduated in 1976. He was a two-year Captain of the team and won several collegiate events. He was twice named Play of the Year in the North Florida PGA, won numerous Chapter and Sectional level events and competed in many PGA Tour events and a few major championships. He has worked at private golf clubs the majority of his career. In addition, he has orchestrated several golf course openings.
Robbie and his wife reside in Willoughby.

Weston Lucas
Assistant Golf Professional
Weston grew up in Strongsville, Ohio, and was an all-around athlete. He played basketball, baseball, soccer, and golf in high school and eventually played golf for three years at Baldwin Wallace University. Weston obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Marketing.
After graduating, he took a position as a financial analyst and quickly learned that the golf industry was where he belonged. Since 2019, Weston has been an Assistant Pro at Signature of Solon. He assisted the Head Golf Professional in all facets of the operation with a strong focus on their junior golf program. During the winter months, Weston worked at 1899 Indoor Golf in Twinsburg, where he conducted lessons, assisted customers with Trackman, and occasionally tended bar. Weston looks forward to joining the Kirtland team and helping members in any way possible.
